Founder - Peter Geers

With over 30 years’ experience across energy, commodities, trading and market reform, Peter has worked across the NEM, gas markets, strategy, policy, operations and commercial decision-making. His career includes senior leadership roles — most recently as Chief Strategy & Markets Officer at AEMO — and the founding of Brolga Energy and Charge2Go.Through Brolga Energy, Peter works alongside a highly experienced and trusted team, bringing together deep domain expertise across markets, policy, commercial strategy and delivery. This core capability is complemented by collaboration with a network of high-quality, bespoke boutique consultancies, enabling the assembly of tailored teams to meet the specific needs of each engagement. Together, this model combines senior-level insight with flexibility and specialist capability, ensuring clients benefit from both strategic perspective and practical execution.Peter has led major market reforms, advised governments and industry, designed trading frameworks, built high-performing teams, and supported organisations to navigate change with clarity and confidence.
